When I was doing my plat-former project, you could say that I lost interest in that project of mine, considering how I switched over to the robotics project that I a currently on. But, the thing is, I do still have a moderate amount of interest in that over project, nonetheless. But, the robot is more curious, so ultimately, my decision to switch over to that project is fueled by that slightly greater interest, probably because of it being more fresh and new than the latter (project). Thankfully, the programming should be quit interesting, and hopefully is more so than the software I was using for the previous project, that being Defold. So, all in all, nothing went wrong to cause me to switch over, it was just a simple change of decision, or of interest.
Over time, I have done Genius Hour since grade 9, and each year my tolerance to Genius Hour has increased. But, each year, none of my projects were interesting enough for my tastes. But, this year, if I am being honest, I am able to do robotics, which was not an option before, and the plat-former project was curious too (something I had attempted before in the span of a weekend, funny enough). All in all, Genius Hour this year in programming has been better than all of the other ones combined. The robotics project (and even the plat-former project) have allowed me to learn about things or more about things on my own, which is nice, because learning on one's own is important for the future.
